ZIZ News...October 22, 2009 - On Friday, 23rd October, United Nations Day will be celebrated with an open house at the Lyn Jeffers School located on Craddock Road, Charlestown. 

The various classrooms are being decorated to portray a selection of countries including Peru, Montserrat, Taiwan/China, Japan, South Africa and St. Kitts-Nevis. Traditional costumes, arts and crafts and cuisine from these countries will be featured between 10am and 2pm. 

The General Public is invited to participate in this fun, educational event. Visitors may view this unique school where students benefit from small class sizes; a disciplined & safe learning environment; and extracurricular activities including archery and scuba.
